2020: Environment studies is my new adventure. Starting my Masters at Geneva University. 2019 – Present: Working on my documentary about all forgotten peoples who manifest at the Nations Square of Geneva.
2018: Solo exhibit about the slums of Manila during the war on Drugs.
2017 & 2018: Studied filmmaking. Created Short film “Over The Rails”.
2016: Started working as professional photographer after graduating at the CANON agency in Manila.
2000 – Present: several humanitarian missions with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to India, Nepal, Colombia, Lebanon, Philippines and Syria.
2012 & 2013: Freelance documentarist for UNHCR in the Lake Chad basin.
2012: Finished my first novel about the Colombian situation. My second novel is on the make, about the Portuguese revolution and Spanish dictatorship.
2011: Postgraduate in Armed Conflict Resolution and Crisis Management, UOC, Barcelona.
2005 & 2006: Tour leader in the Himalayas with Club Aventure and UCPA. Accompanying French speaking groups through the high Himalayas with mule caravans and sleeping in tents.
2000: Diploma in Sanskrit, in world’s most traditional university, Varanasi, India.
1997: MA in Interpretation and Linguistics, Granada University, Spain.
1974: Born in Lisboa.
I am a dreamer of a world with no borders and no imposition; A world in which we blend through language and cultural knowledge.
I speak Spanish, Portuguese, French, English, Hindi, Urdu, Nepali and Arabic.
In addition, I studied Ecuadorian Quichua, Guarani, Sanskrit, Haussa and other languages that unfortunately I was not able to retain.
